Chatter-Bridge

Dreaming With a Broken Heart by John Mayer. This song really puts you at peace.
I'm learning how to play it, haha.
Enjoy.

Drop Dead August

Music:
Fall-Out Boy - Sugar, We're Goin' Down

The annual National Day fever hit Singapore yesterday.
While others celebrated and revelled in the ecstasy of Singapore's
40th year anniversary celebrations, I on the other hand, faced a
fever of a wholly different sort. There went a perfectly placed 5-day
weekend of sorts. Well, perhaps going down with the flu on Sunday
wasn't so bad after all, despite the incessant throbbing headaches I
endured for the consequent couple of days or so.

After all, getting quarantined by this illness does have its perks.
Other than preferential treatment, getting to sit down to read a book
is something I haven't done in a very long time. Anyway, last saturday
I went for Band Nite to listen to our fairly good band. Well, I'd admit
they are the best there is in Singapore for a secondary institution though.
So it was really quite enjoyable and later after the show, a group of us decided
to go to holland v for a late-night drink. The group was natalie (ah xian!), karen,
derek, szus and bryan. It was actually quite interesting to talk about school-
related stuff amongst ousrselves. NUS High seems to have an amazingly accelerated
syllabus on maths and science! I had never been to holland v at such a late hour
though, so I was kind of stuck for a while on how to get home since my parents
weren't free to pick me up at that time.

Thankfully, natalie came to the rescue by getting me a lift back from her really
really nice parents! =)

I crossed the bridge at 11:17 AM
