Dreaming With a Broken Heart by John Mayer. This song really puts you at peace.
I'm learning how to play it, haha.
Enjoy.

Stuck midstream in 2nd gear

Music:
Madonna - Hung Up

I really think that finding good food is more exciting than
most other things. Its sort of like a challenge, a conquest.
Perhaps the incentive lies not only in the stomach but also
in the pleasure that you won't have an ardous time trying
to make a decision in front of friends or family.

Somehow though, there should be some point in life when
you feel that nothing's moving forward. Like the car you're
sitting in during the peak period on the roads. Or perhaps
the computer you're desparately trying to jumpstart. Well,
sometimes it could be that bowl of vile-tasting soup situated
in front of you, unwilling to move. It could even be your very
own unbothered pair of legs on a lazy saturday afternoon.
Whatever it is, always be glad that it isn't being trapped in a
room full of uncouth, noise-creating, cliched-ridden people.

Anyway, had some fun on friday night at chomp chomp in
serangoon gardens with javier and john. We were there to try
out its delectable BBQ seafood which it is famed for and later we
settled down at cafe cartel to share about some recent noteworthy
scandals and other really entertaining news whether it was regarding
school matters or just anything else under the sun.

By the way, I think Lost is an absolutely spectacular work of
art. It has a dazzling array of actors, brilliant both in terms of
their acting chops and also their looks. It's set in an idyllic
far-off picturesque-looking island. Honestly, despite all the
chaos & hysteria encircling the characters, the beauty of
the island is still left very much unblemished by it all.
Although there are those who criticise the show for its lack
of substantiality or verisimility & an overly ambiguous plot,
I feel that that itself gives the show a unique blend of enigma
and subtlety, something which makes it that much different
from your typical lost-in-an-unknown-place thriller.

Cant wait for Season 2 to be aired locally either on axn or ch5!

A technological pause, an infinitesimal whisper.

School Blues

Music: Santana feat Michelle Branch - I'm Feelin' You

A rather dull lull in the swing of things now at school. Exam results
have already been issued and im disappointed to acknowledge that
I failed maths. But I kind of saw that coming anyway. The good news
is that the rest of my subjects have all at least managed to achieve a
minimal B grade. More time should have been spent on the composition
section of the English Paper 1 because the ending was a tad shaky. Could
have got a few more marks and possibly top English. But nevermind, should
be satisfied with what I've already achieved.

In other matters, thinking of getting the latest gizmo, the iPod Video. Its
pricey, but still relatively cheaper than its previous counterparts. Besides,
its also less bulky. "More features in less space? Just sounds like the iPod"

Anyway, I've been contemplating about a recent idea I've had to find a
job, part-time more or less, for a certain period during the holidays. There's
really not much to do and besides I could definitely do with more cash in
hand. I'm also in need of a fund for the iPod since my parents feel that I
should at least pay for a portion of it in some way or other.

On a altogether different note, the whole avian influenza crisis is kind of
alarming. The rapid tenacity at which it spreads and the lethal stranglehold
it has on life - both human & bird. It seems that the likelihood of losing your
life in the 21st century is much greater than it used to be.

And meanwhile, school blues still remain...
